I've started using The Rememberance Agent within Emacs on my MacBook. This means that I get a "window" (in Emacs' parlance, actually a buffer within my overall Emacs window) that displays a list of files most relevant to the text I am currently editing. The code below will skip over the remembrance output when switching between buffers:
